The reason why Somali men are obsessed with saying that their lineage passes through them and not Somali women is because they want access to non Somali women but do not want Somali women to do the same. It’s pretty much just hypocrisy, most of the mixed ones who tend to stray from their dhaqan and deen have Somali fathers it’s just facts. Personally even my half Filipino cousins are so out of touch with their Somali side and yearn to be accepted by their Asian half, my friends cousins are even ashamed to be half Somali and say their only Portuguese
Somali lineage is passed through the father.. You belong to your fathers tribe and you family name goes through your father's lineage, it's something we are saying to limit you as a woman but this is actually how our culture is built... When you marry out your kids won't have a tribe who is Somali, belonging to a Somali tribe and being able to trace down your lineage is what makes you a Somali otherwise you'll be considered an ajnabi.

Somalia really went from a country that gave woman the same rights as their fellow men to a country that still lives and acts as if it is the 1800s :drakelaugh:
Well, Somalia was like this, even in kacaan era. Somalia didn't had a law where women can pass the citizenship to their kids.

Back to the main question, it really depends, if the mixed race guy look fully Somali and speak somali with the good knowledge about the culture, no one could say he isn't Somali, or the nationalists would consider him as honorably Somali
Even their are Somalis who have foreign ancestors who came 200-500 yrs ago, and still live Somalia and considered Somali by the law, (benadiris, and others).
Never to mention these Somalis/sub clans who belongs to Somali clans but have different parental lineage or HG like R which is associated with south Asians (Pakis/indians), I think it was mention a while ago?

Or J HG (semetics)
Or the oromos who got Somalized and so on of non Somali lineage Somalis who are considered fully Somali, or citizens of Somalia.

They're half Somali

Qabil doesn't change your genetics. Only a doqon in denial can say those words, you guys really think people in Somalia are gonna look at a half cadaan or Asian kid and think they're Somali because of their qabil? Kkkkkk riyo baad ku jurtiin.

The question is why would halfies with Somali mom's try to beg it? Paternally if you ain't Somali you ain't. We can't change culture.

Why don't they adopt their father's culture that their mother married into?

Just cuz the religion and culture don’t work in your favor doesn’t mean Somali men are obsessed hypocrites. Put your feelings to the side and think rationally.

Another thing I find hilarious is that some of you are running with the false ass narrative that kids with Somali moms and ajnabi dads are more in touch with Somalinimo then kids with Somali dads and ajnabi moms.

A kid with an ajnabi father, could speak fluent Somali and know everything about Somali culture and history but would still be an ajnabi. This is always a touchy subject for females, lord knows why.
Imagine I f*ck a hoe in each random remote village and impregnated them with a child then ran off. Then the village is left to care for the child and the single mom with their resources being shared with the seed of the outsider.

Does that sound realistic to you in every culture in the world. Is every culture as loose as the west. Hell even in the west you still can't have as much power as the true cadaans elites that rule these countries.

The solution is for men to take care of their kids and teach them their culture.

I've talked to elders back home and it's pretty simple. Lineage is passed down from the father.

If I married an Ajinabi, my children would still be accepted by my clansmen as Somali even though they are mixed.

However, if a Somali women marries out, her mixed children would NOT be considered Somali and would be part of the Ajinabis lineage.

If you can't understand this simple concept then you're either an idiot or live in feminist la-la land.

Please re read my question: “half Somali”. I’m not talking about if they would considered to be full Somali

Yes they are half Somali.

Also, let's not act like some simps wouldn't harass a half Somali girl who's mother is Somali by bribing her to join their qabil.

They're both half breed. No difference what so ever....if you marry out your offspring won't be full Somali and after a couple of generations there won't be any trace of your existence.
Fax man imagine that kid grows up in a foreign country too....he’ll have nothing left to go back to

In a couple of generations I just want my offspring to still be Muslim I couldn’t care less if they were Somali or not
