I know what you mean. Skin tone and hair texture is something that varies from person to person in my family too.

My thin hair doesn't struggle with a comb. It takes a few minutes to flat iron and it's curly. It's texture changes according to my diet, hydration and level of moisture. Top is smooth until the ends that are dry. Does dryness = Madowness or is that just a curl pattern?
