If a women wants to wear the Niqab, it’s really none of anyone’s business. The Niqab is undoubtedly apart of Islam and some scholars consider it wajib like in the Shafi’i madhab (which most Somalis follow). Whatever opinion you follow, as long as you’re dressing modestly within Islamic boundaries, you’re good.

I have been to Somalia and Somaliweyn. In galbeed there are churches everywhere and in Waqooyi they have christain ministries and graves. Koonfur they believe everyone who isn't pro - Alshabab is a gaal and thus suicide bombers massacre people under the same belief.

However i agree Somalia is a savage place, thats why we need to limit them in my optimal region.

If something is useless and not-islamic then one should be abstain from wearing it at all this was your intended point. Why did you feel the need to call it useless and not islamic ? was it not to show that niqaab lacks legitimacy and should therefore be not worn ? what other reason would you have for claiming such thing about the niqaab ?

It's fine to ask questions when you want to understand any issue but this shouldn't be done under the lens of your own bias. You'll get nowhere and the only conclusion is the one that validates your own bias. In such cases there's would be no benefit to ask questions in first place since there was no genuine interest to learn to begin with.
