Yes it is very hypocritical, but tbh all ethnicities of men do this. They see when men of their own ethnicity divest as a W, because they feel they have conquered another group. Whereas when a woman from their ethnicity does it they feel like they have been conquered.
Is it wrong, of course because you should hold the men and the women to the same standard. If you are anti divesting then you should also be for both genders.

This doesn’t make any sense. Realistically Somalia is an ethnostate most of the reason for these issues is the Somali people. If you go on social media there is Amhara, Oromo, Tigray supremacists they don’t care about Ethiopia they only care about themselves.
In Ethiopia/Eritrea they prioritise ethnic group over religion, i know people irl who have told me they would rather marry Amhara Christian as a Muslim than Oromo Muslim lady.
