Nigga they don't. Let's be real a lot of young somalis practically live the same life. Most are broke and can't entertain hobbies that cost money. Most young guys just go to school, play football/basketball with their boys, play video games, and watch anime. The naag are also homebodies as well that are chronically online.

dfkm my kids connection to Somalinimo would be through me, therefore it only makes sense they would belong to my clan. The only time I would consider them to be from another clan is is my husband is a Somali (non Darood).
I think with some interracial relationships (mainly Western groups) it's usually the moms side that makes half-Somali$ identify with somalinino better, but only because a lot of abdis that get with ajnabis either dip or get pressured into doing so
This is a bad take especially since the current crop of Gen Z Somali women are just as westernized as their male counterparts.
A lot of these chicks barely speak somali and will be raising half Somali kids that won't be as cultured. Just like most westernized Somali men that marry out as well.
The only half Somali kids that will be truly cultured are the ones with a fob parent. These days though not a lot of somalis are immigrating to the west.
That's why I believe we should just simply stop carrying about half somalis. Majority of them won't be marrying a Somali person and their parent will be the last Somali in their bloodline.

If you had a kid with a non-Somali, your kids will not belong to a clan. If clan membership for your kids is so important then marry a Somali man.
My point was that a half Somali with a Somali mother has a higher likelihood of interacting with other Somalis compared to half Somalis with a Somali father, who in some cases are basically sperm donors whose side they will never see. Not sure how that's false
