After Abdullahi Yusuf (AUN), i dare say Gas is Puntland's greatest president. Puntland has developed immensely in the past three years this man has been in charge.
In regards to PL security and defence, Gas and his administration has been heavily criticised, which i believe is woefully unfair and not justified. Yes, there has been a massive rise in attacks by Al Shabab in his term. But that's a given when you're fighting a people hiding in a mountain ranges, and coming down on the odd occasion to throw a few grenades and shoot up a market or court house.
As for the going ons on our southern border, its a minor issue. I have no idea why some Puntites bang on about that bogus "Federal State" Galmudug all the time or any other moryaan militia or armed group. They possess no threat and danger to PL nor are they a match and our equals. The simplest and best way to deal with any annoying problems from South Galkacyo and beyond, is to simply close the border. When the border was closed off some time ago, there were literally no more attacks of any kind and no assassinations. It was a very effective plan. And if things become a nuisance again, simply close the border.
All in all, as someone with sense from a small clan, i believe Gas has beem fantastic, he's done a good job. Once again, Cumar Maxamuuds achieving soo much. Hope a Ciisa never gets elected as PL President. All they'll do is never leave Garowe and focus solely on Nuugal, they are a very self-entitled people, thinking the world owes them something.
PS. I also have immense love for my Cusman Mahamuud cousins. Don't think i forgot about you lot.
