Skin color is irrelevant in Somalia, the most black dhuxul Somali from a higher tribe looks down on the lightest skinned lower marginalized tribe
One of the rare places on earth this happens by the way, usually the opposite
there is colourism in Somalia just like anywhere else in the world, so yeah you'd probably have some privilege. my aunt visited us and looked pale af, my family are normally lightskinned but she was on a different level so she probs bleached.
anyway these divesting chicks need a new hobby than reviving worn out topics.
"The rotten mango for the darker person and the fresh mango for the lighter one"No. Colorism is a relatively new issue in our community and does not extend into politics and tribalism.

Colorism has always been in Somalia.
In reality that's how people are treated back home.Nigga what?
Never heard that quote before. I've heard "doqon iyo habeen baa madow" though. Probably recently invented quotes.
Skin tone really doesn’t matter for Somali girls they beautiful regardless but I’d probably want my girl to be lighter then meAs someone who is lighter skinned in winter and medium skinned in Summer… one thing I can say is that I have outright had Abdi’s say they prefer Lighter skinned Xalimos. Akhas I want to vomit at the self hating coonery in recanting.
colorism is a disease seen throughout Africa that’s a result of globalism and outside non black cultures soft power influence through media.
This is something the Somali government and every African gov should be battling… to remove as much outside influence as possible like China.
How old are they?In truth, Yes.
There is a famous somali proverbs
Cadaan qurux kama qatana (Fair colour is never devoid of beauty)
Doqon iyo habeen baa madaw (only a fool and night are black)
Why are we lightskins made to hate ourselfs? As someone who is lighter skinned in winter and medium skinned in Summer… one thing I can say is that I have outright had Abdi’s say they prefer Lighter skinned Xalimos. Akhas I want to vomit at the self hating coonery in recanting.
