It depends if your lazy and you have a big qabil you can use it in places like Minnesota or Ohio where they are more qabil oriented to get better opportunities or positions. I personally think that shit is retarded, niggas really beefing over some niggas who died hundreds of years ago just doesn’t make sense to me.

BE HONEST!!
no it really means nothing to me go ahead and call me an anjabi. i didn't even know what qabil was until i went on this site and i'm being completely honest. i tend to block out my parent's fob ramblings and they don't really care especially my abo. i just don't understand why a bunch of kids who grew up in the west with shitty somali language skills care this much lol tbh
Dont worry habo, naago qabil maleh
As far as im concerned ur qabil-fluid.

Lol i heard that in minnesota midgaans had their own gang is that true? :damn:

I'll say yes because my qabiil is the most hated in Somalia so it obviously matters to me.

That being said, I only found out about my qabiil a couple of years ago, never cared to ask nor was I told before that.

I mean qabiil is family, why wouldn't I care, who else would have your back, I don't care about the rest of Somalia tbh.

Despite what I just said, if I could get rid of the qabiil structure, I would.

Slightly. I like knowing my qabiils history and everything about it, I also like knowing my lineage. But it doesn’t affect my day to day life.

Most Of Y'all Are Inbreeds Qabil This And Qabil That All day Uncouth Society The Men And Woman Equally Why Do Somalis Even Pray To Allah It Seems Yours Qabil is More Important Than Yours Faith And Then We Have Every Xaafad Want To Become Country Is Beyond Laughable Now

No, the only thing that matters is Family. Not a bunch of strangers.

It would be interesting if Somalis could use qabil in the form of societal organization and Government.

Instead they act like gangs and have turf wars. :yloezpe:

But yeah your qabil has nothing to do with your kinship.

Qabiil is kinship. On my 23andme relatives results, only those with the same qabiil as me or my parents showed up.

I don’t have 23andme but like I said your 5th cousins is 0.5% related to you. A random member of your clan would be insignificantly related to you.
Not to mention does not take into account your maternal side.

For you to be related ONLY to your qabil not only would all your ancestor only marry within, every member of your clan had to as well.

The only qabils I can think of with this type of lineage are gabooye who faced a lot of discrimination in marriage in the past. But that doesn’t mean every other gabooye is your kin, hence blood relation being so minuscule.

My cousins were dir, ogadeen, mj, dhulbante and leelkase. They came from my grandma.

Anti-qabil
The first time I heard about qabil was a trip. The notion that a people who share so much were killing each other based on something so vacuous was crazy.

Personally? I'm a British-born Somali guy living in London. Qabil has not affected my life at all. I sometimes hear my parents discussing it when I visit but most of my Somali friends are second-generation diaspora. We rarely discuss tribes and/or clan politics except to say how retarded the whole thing is. What I have noticed is a deep desire to move past qabil entirely and have a functioning country.
