Why bantu specifically? You can assume they're Madow that would make sense but how would you know they're Bantu without knowing their qabiil

I assume the ones that identify most with Bantu identity, as the ones with Tanzanian roots, they even retained their native language; Zigula.

I guess the ones who have been in Somalia far longer, lost their native languages, such as the Shidle, Makanne and so forth, would perhaps not call themselves Bantu, but by their clan names instead?

No just tanzanian but from south east Africa in general, they're very diverse.

Those aren't bantu , they don't claim to have migrated northwards to where they live , rather they claim to have migrated from Ethiopia. They're same ethnic stock as as Eyle and Gawaawiin. They don't have bantu culture or any bantu vocabulary in their dialects, even if you look at their clan structure you'll notice no bantu names
