Rumours Trump will recognise Somaliland.

"Congratulations to the newest country in the world Republic Of Adal. " this is what I want to hear when the recognition comes.
Cant have Adal without Zeila and Harar. Just name it after a geographic feature (Juba Land, named after the river, Hiran and Middle Shabelle = Hirshabelle)

Anything without the name somali as outsiders will think it's still apart of Somalia. A fresh new start is what we need.

Nah Adal. Read up on the history. this is the most popular name for Somaliland and could very well be our new name.

we all know that name belongs reer Zeila or may I say reer Awdal, first you picked Somaliland, now you trying to claim other people's history. Shame!

sorry but juba land, punt land & hiran r bad names you sound as creative as the people who create those names.

Awdal is still included with Somaliland. Adal thers no issue since all tribes in Somaliland will be included and not excluded.

Why would you abandon the somali identity? Djibouti has been independent for like 70 years but the country still is integral part of Somaliweyn. I dont even think the most rabidly secessionist lander would claim that they are seperate ethnically

Naming Somaliland to Adal would also name it after Awdal which also is named after Adal. Might as well call Somalia Ajuraan and pick a random region to also call Ajuraan

Nah we will always be somali I'm talking about the country name. Why would we keep our former colonial name? makes no sense. It makes even less sense keeping a name similair to Somalia. Chill we aren't running away from our identity.
