The EAC will swallow up Somalia & turn it into a heavily Bantu nation through immigration, since the numbers are in their favour in a Schengen zone style Agreement[in this scenario, Somalia would have to be an attractive developing state].

I as a Natufian meta-ethnic nationalist oppose such a future for Somalia. The Arab league[especially Arabia and Egypt] is far more advanced than the EAC. Closer integration between Arab states would benefit Somalia/Somalis, such as freedom of movement etc.

We as a people are more closer to peoples from Arabia & Egypt than peoples from Kenya, Tanzania & so forth in terms of culture, mentality, clothing, language etc.

It’s in our interests to support closer integration within the Arab League into an EU style org that has freedom of movement, joint partnerships in military and security affairs; Somalia would greatly benefit from such closer partnership with fellow Arabs, especially with Egypt & Arabia who are the most advanced in the Arab world.

When will Somalis realise that unity within the so called "ummah" is dead. We are alone in this world, all the Arab countries (incl Turkey) are making efforts to spread their influence so that they can make more money. Somalis need to stfu and focus on improving our poverty-stricken country rather than day-dreaming about an impossible reality.
I will always prioritise Somalis and Somalia over foreigners.
I would much rather prefer a strong Somalia with weak Arab/Habesha neighbours to a mediocre unity with other countries.

Islam is not against the separation of the races, each race should have rights to their lands.

Recognising the many commonalities between Somalis, Arabians, Egyptians and North Africans which can be used as a contributing factor to an EU-style Arab union is good.
