This randomly came up for me so I don't have any specific proof but if you search uo "Dirac" and oromo there is a bunch of videos. I even saw a brand selling diracs and calling it oromo. Biftuoromoaadaa is one such example.

I understand nearby ethnic groups share culture. But, if it was really "part of your culture " we'd see changes. A few different patterns, maybe a different style or two. This people just copy with no effort to add anything and make it their own.
