exactly just focus on having a stable militia to protect our regions and not let these Oromos into our lands while also avoiding their internal squabble so when the day comes for civil war we can quickly secede and not get involved we won't fight their wars, but we will also not let them into our lands.

SR could have meaningfully contributed 2 years ago. Internal politics in the region makes things difficult and I have no idea where it will be in 5 years time.

The Liyu is massive, the eastern command in Harar is always gutted first leaving SR/Afar as the de facto defense force in the east, and SR is really close to both Moyaale and the a1 highway(dji road) which are Ethiopias future export/import routes.
