No they're all the same in that they make claims that have no basis in reality. However, Islam is differs from the two in that it places an emphasis on imposing it's will on those who don't even share the faith. These patrols are an example of that.

Muhammad's experiences in Mecca made him realise Islam always had to be in a position of authority and if it meant an offensive war was required then so be it.
