Major General Hatem Bachat Chairman of the Committee of African Affairs , said that Egypt must move to strengthen its presence in Somalia immediate , pointing out that we are present in northern Somalia to Djibouti borders , but we need to strengthen our presence in Mogadishu and the Ethiopian Somalian borders, same with Kenya , because this area actually needs more from the Egyptian presence.
He pointed out that there is a group of countries ,including Ethiopia ,Kenya are trying to keep Somalia away from its Arab identity.
