Hodan is effectively a spokesman for this government. Inshallah this news is true but CBB always peddle fake news. I heard a while back from someone close to Mahad Salad that they’re planning Egyptians to come in but I didn’t believe HSM was bold enough.

The initial backlash from Ethiopia will be strong hence we could only get away with this if Ethiopia is focused in Tigray and Somalia had declared full scale war against Shabaab which would justify Egyptian presence and support.

AUN to all the victims of the Hotel Hayaat attack but this has given a massive boost to worldwide attention on Somalia’s terrorism problem. This is beneficial for increased American military support to the SNA and HSM’s arming of militias and regular citizens to fight Shabaab to be internationally accepted. Which also acts as a way of reigning in the FMS leaders.

This is bad news. This is only gonna cause Ethiopia which is already meddling with FMS to feel even more threatened. HSM simply going to egypt and speaking about nile dam caused Ethiopia to start sending millitary generals to FMS imagine if Egyptian soldiers set foot on Somali soil. This would cause a much harsher response from Ethiopia. HSM should really rethink this for the sake of somali citizens. It is not in the interests of any somalis for Somalia to host a proxy war between two countries.

Ethiopia wont take this lightly. I cant 100% confirm this but ive heard from some sources that if a single Egyptian soldier touches Somali soil Ethiopia will declare a full out war on HSM maybe even air raid villa Somalia.

I dont think this would be beneficial for any somalis. If later on Egypt and Ethiopia fight within Somalia innocent Somalis will suffer for something that doesnt concern them. HSM should really rethink this choice.

If egypt comes to somalia they need to make sure its somewhere far from Koonfur Galbeed. HSM had plans to give them a base in Bakool which KG administration said hell no. His next option is probably Galmudug or middle shabele region.

The first base is rumoured in GM. We’ll see. This would allow air operations over PL, GM, HS and KG. Which would mean Ethiopian troops if they interfere with FMS leader would be bombed by Egyptian F16 jets.

This is all so HSM could remove LG, QQ, Guudlaawe should they attempt to use Ethiopians.

Have you ever asked yourself why the country is weak? We have an FGS President who has little say on what FMS’s do and also Shabaab controlling vast swathes of territory.

If FGS has sovereignty over the FMS and can defeat Shabaab we’d be respected on the word stage and investment would flood in. We’d sign resource deals etc etc.
