I can’t imagine wishing Eid Mubarak only to my qabiil wtf what about if you’ve relatives who belong to different Qabiils. I wonder if they will say eid Mubarak to their relatives too

It's weird isn't it, even though you Aussie guys are way ahead of the rest of us, don't u guys celebrate eid or start Ramadan like a day after us? Or do you guys receive the confirmation in the middle of the night?

I honestly don't know why it's like this. Muslims countries near us like Malaysia and Indonesia also finish on a Wednesday so it isn't an anomaly.

Most of the Islamic societies in Australia agreed that the it was a day later so I'm guess it has something to do with the moon being in a different position for us.

Advanced Muslim nations like Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia do astronomical calculations. Only backward nations like us and the ayrabs confirm the moon with the naked eye. Those countries knew beforehand when full moon was. You guys could never have eid on Tuesday, because it would mean you only fasted 28 days, since you started a day after us and we only fasted 29 days.
