A mixed person cannot claim land in my village if their mother is Eritrean and their father is a foreigner. This is customary law going back centuries. That being said, it is always preferable to have two parents of the same yolk. But if not, the father always takes precedence when it comes to LINEAGE. That doesn’t necessarily equate to who is more or less of X, Y and Z

Now obviously for matters such as citizenship, one can claim this through either parent (in Eritrea). Both sexes contributed to liberation

Who said the kids will be “pure”. I said they’d have Eritrean lineage. Both are bad, but at least with an Eritrean father they have lineage. It’s easier to reabsorb them into Eritrean society
