After the war in Sudan broke out many Sudanis found a new home in Eritrea.

And many others left Eritrea to move to other countries of the world KSA Europe and North America, because of the civil war in Sudan Sudanese air space was blocked and sudanis had ether to flee to Egypt or Eritrea.

Eritrea has a long history of helping refugees fleeing from war.

Also after the civil war in Somalia in the 1990s, thousands of Somalis from all tribes fled to Eritrea and found a new home in Eritrea. Many of them lived in Massawa and Assab of Eritrea
