Once that action was committed (depriving resources), it guaranteed your defeat. Wars a lot of the time aren’t decided by strategy, if you knock over something someone else built, you’ll face a much more enraged force determined to win. It’s why Ethiopia is in southern Somalia slowly encroaching on their territory without alarming the population, because once they do, they’ll lose.
They have more seccessionist horgal than khatumo, not sure if that’s due to proximity to hargeisa or that they are just more accepting of it.

I don't think it's Ethiopia giving the Drones. Ethiopia seems to need the Drones way more than Somaliland currently. UAE provided the Drones. UAE manufactures its own Drones. Here's the link's for the Drones that are built in UAE.This drone crashed in Sool, and apparently, it came from the Somaliland area. So, did Ethiopia supply them with drones?
