This match is a rematch from their Match Day 4 encounter on 9th of June, 2024, which occured in the same stadium as today. The teams drew 1-1 with Dadzie of Djibouti opening the scoring in the 29th minute. Ethiopia's Wondimu would score the equalizer shortly after in the 31st minute. This has earned the former their only point and the later their third in qualifications so far. Today's match is crucial in both teams hopes to stay alive.

So far it's been good tempo from both teams. Djibouti's squad has some nice skill moves as well. But for whatever reason, their Goalkeeper left the net wide open..... The crowd seems to heavily favor Djibouti which is quiet interesting.
