I've flown with Ethiopian Airlines before. No complaints at all. Good service and the stewardesses were cute. 8/10 would fly again.

Even under hard times with Mengistu Haile Mariam, the Harari CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Mohammed Ahmed kept it from going under.

I was going to edit my post and ask was it any of these:

But yeah, they're all part of an airline alliance. : )

Airline alliances are meant for code sharing and making it easier to connect with another flight with a different airline.

It's not meant to share napkins that belong to different airlines. No other airline does this.

It's a good airline though

You can actually brand-share too, you've probably seen it with airline liveries. And the fact that the napkins happened to be of an airline in the same alliance, it does make it possible. I've never seen it however, and it's not the smartest move. They wouldn't risk it if it was legally wrong:cosbyhmm:.
