I highly doubt Ethiopia will ever be comfortable with ENDF compromising of a large contingent of Somalis with access to heavy weapons and being at the top echelons of the military in any significant way. They barely put up with Liyu police which has nowhere near that fire power.

It’s a good idea for them to send some liyu to other regions tho and bring in Oromo and Habeshi forces into DDS. An absolute disaster for Somali region tho. This is only the start

These guys @SPMLegend @Abaq were so insistent on convincing themselves that this would be the case to spite the other Somalis in the region. But from the looks of things in Godey, that's far from the case. Oromos or other foreign group that answer to the former will most likely be sent to administer DDS security

Liyu will be integrated into the regular forces. That is a fact sxb

as for the sad events in Godey, then that is just a continuation of the usual Xabashi savagery which we have been fighting against for a century
