You can't compare Canada's GDP relative to its population of 36 million to India's GDP relative to its population of 1,324 billion.India needs to grow its GDP exponentially before they can attempt a well balanced income distribution.
Which why I said SL fails this because with our low population of 3.5 million and high GDP there is no excuse for such inequality.Unless there are political reasons behind it.As you can see the most impoverished region is SSC which is part of SL.

I read the report and understand were they based there analyses from.But just because you have a good GDP per capita doesn't mean your region is rich.Far from it.
But many here are delusional enough to think its mean exactly that.

How can you claim to be a rich region with low GDP but relatively high income distribution(GDP per capita).
