why would he do anything? it benefits him after allGurgurte watching this and not doing shit.
Somalis killed somalis and Ethiopians are laughingyet somalis are doing nothing but killing each other
The numbers they are claiming are too exaggerated to be true and the only 4 regions they are based in are all inland with no access to the coast.@IKHALIIL what’s going on any truth to this
At least 3,000 Ethiopian soldiers are stationed in the Horn of Africa country as part of an African Union peacekeeping mission (ATMIS) fighting al Shabaab, an Islamist militia which controls large portions of Somalia.
Another 5,000-7,000 Ethiopian soldiers are stationed in several regions under a bilateral agreement.
Currently ENDF are stationed in Southwest West and Gedo, as well as three camps in Hiran region.
The issue with Somalia is not an issue with lack of weapons, troops and fighting spirit, the root cause of our problem is lack of unity, trust issues and a people who are divided and fragmented with no leadership who are capable of uniting us.. I can tell you the key to our success as people and nation is unity that combined with a good smart leadership who the people are happy with and trust, but we have a better chance of winning the lottery than this actually happening in our lifetime or even after our lifetime. Are somalis capable of fighting and defeating the terrorists on their own, as look as the answer is no; its useless getting upsetting about foreign troops.
I mean those are Al kabab, there's no peace with them
It’s all voluntary, granted we aren’t able to takeover security fully just yet. Truth is, if Ethiopian troops just suddenly left, deadly battles for power would begin in a minimum of 3 regions.I just think somalia is in a bad position. They need help from their enemy and can't do anything about it. Is ethiopia forced by the IC or is voluntary?
Ok. 3 regions lol I didn't think it was that bad. But it's just security ethiopia works on right they have no other say in the internal politics? Because I keep hearing ethiopia is a destabilizing factor I just don't see it. As far as I'm concerned their just there for security. It’s all voluntary, granted we aren’t able to takeover security fully just yet. They are not there to help, they are not there to stabilise Somalia. For three decades they have armed clans against each other, slaughtered innocent people in masses and have actively participated in the destabilisation of Somalia, hindering political and unification efforts alone the way. I can see why you would say this, but don’t twist truths to fit one’s political narrative. I can see you’re a good guy, but speaking the truth no matter the circumstances is an admirable characteristic.Ok. 3 regions lol I didn't think it was that bad. Their presence and AMISOM/ATMIS in general is the major reason why Al-Shabab gets recruits. It may not seem like it, but the average Somali in koonfur hates African troops viewing them as gaal invaders. Al-Shabab uses that frustration to maintain power among other reasons.r I just don't see it
