Addis Ababa contributes up to 87% of Ethiopia's GDP. No city collects so much taxes like the city of Addis, the most wealthy city administration. And when it comes to taxi business, well Addis traditional taxis have competitions like "Ethio Uber" firms, trams, busses and many more. You can't compare them with Jigjjiga man.

I agree, Addis has so much economic power that can only be unhealthy. The city is full of entrepreneurs and business men that in every corner business is thriving like nowhere else in Ethiopia. The construction of apartments and villas allover the city is beyond imagination. Every able business men and the creme de la creme of the society want to settle in Addis contributing to the wealthiest and most prosperous city of the country, the economic power house of Ethiopia.
