That is completely false. Maybe the places near those communities but otherwise Somalis are isolated. They keep to themselves. That's because the Somali region lot are fully integrated as Ethiopians some are even converting to Christianity

Maybe he lived amongst them idrk. The kids back home that i know could only speak Somali. Its like how the Somali diaspora kids here only know English even though their parents speak Somali. Lmfao I dont think they care to know more.My cagdheer pal speaks perfect amharic lol
Can't wait for them for them all to speak somali so i can shukaansi some qonjos and bareedusYesterday I came across a FKD session held by three ethiopians on tiktok. One amhara woman and oromo woman aa dhulka isla galen in fluent af-somali. I have never been so confused.
The day before that I saw an amhara (?) woman deep in Ethiopia wearing baati (alindi print). Another oromo woman (had the tree flag hanging on the wall) on tiktok singing somali songs and preferred to speak somali.
So my question is do you lot envision a future horn of Africa where the somalis are culturally dominant?
Horny somali men are a security threat. Can't wait for them for them all to speak somali so i can shukaansi some qonjos and bareedus
Don't waste your time on that qashin. Arabic or mandarin(Grammar is easy only writing and pronunciation are difficult) is much more of value.I might start studying amharic why not
I honestly think the opposite is gonna happen. 10-15 years nobody even a lot of the diaspora didn't even really know what somali culture was. Look at us today. You have young diaspora kids who have their own favorite somali songs. When I was the age of some of these young kids I didn't even known anything about somalia or our culture. I didn't even know clans existed as a child.Only a matter of time before all Somali cultural traditions are appropriated and repackaged as traditional Ethiopian culture.
These people will swallow us whole if we are not careful.
This isn't good. Non-Somalis can encroach in our lands, speak Somali and claim to a part of the Somali identity. We don't outnumber Oromos or Amhara people. It wouldn't be good for usYesterday I came across a FKD session held by three ethiopians on tiktok. One amhara woman and oromo woman aa dhulka isla galen in fluent af-somali.
