I'm a UK somali, i'm here to tell you that whilst ajnabi blacks like carribean people where absoloutely horrible when we first moved here that was more based on us being a new arrival than anything else, that shit slowly died down by the time we became more ingrained into the country. Half the kids here use our lingo now like in Toronto. Madows are over represented in most fields that can lead you into the middle class without a college degree.

Too much tangible damage has been done to the physical and social infrastructure of black americans for me to really blame them too much, essentially any time they've tried to come together to make a legitimate change in their community they've had it be destroyed. That along with racial segregation + crack being pumped into their neighbourhoods means it's easier said than done for them to collectively rise up as a community tbh.

There are plenty of them who just put their head down and work to take advantage of being part of the most powerful country in the world, but those that were hung to dry at the bottom simply have no hope. If you're living in a hood that your father and uncles were all active gang members in, and all your older brothers are in jail and shit idk how you're expected to collectively drag yourself out of that mess?

I'm American. 90% of these niggas that dunk on madows on here have never met an African American. I also grew up in the South so I was always surrounded by Madows.

Somalispot niggas that never interacted with AAs would make you think all African Americans are stuck in the hood. These niggas just completely ignore the existence of middle and upper class African Americans.

Bruh I was born early 2000s and deadass very very rarely dealt with it. This isn't to say that we were welcomed into "blackness" as a concept in open arms, we were still a distinct group and a lot of bridging between communities to be done, but for the most part mockery of our name and very direct removal from the "black" umbrella died out by like 2014/15, in my neighbourhood that was mini Mogadishu it died out even earlier, I straight up don't remember it.

As you said, the lame's that didn't have the balls to stand up for themselves back then have decided to make these guys their enemies via the online world where they have all the bravery in the world.

They gained a supreme level of online clout when the pandemic hit and now their rhetoric ideologies have basically become synonymous with us to a degree. Worst part is not only do we have a bunch of new haters, but the demographics that originally hated on us and still maintain some of those ideologies can do so freely now as we've given them a lifeline to justify all this and rewrite history as us being "c00ns and black haters all along".
