Driving licence is cheap but its insurance that high for youngsters and the inexperienced. The southerner you right sxb. I had a relative visit me from america and he couldnt understand the need for a gear stick. I explained how it worked and when to change gear, the guy was just dumbfounded. Same here I cant cook so I eat from outside few times a week lol.

What they also seem to forget is when they come over with their dollars, its basically nothing when exchanged into the mighty pound.

It depends but for the most part no I went to a school where I got the class learning portion so I could get my permit but after that I had pay $300+ behind the wheel driving for 300+ they gave you 6 hours behind the wheel driving of course after failing 4 times I had to pay again to redo it

By the way behind the wheel classes here are not required you can have anybody teach you and take a test as long as you don't fail 4 times if you do you have to take behind the wheel 6 hours driving and bring certificate to proof you did
