Tabca road is for reer Ceerigaabo it goes through only HY deegaans. So only HY/GX should contribute as their deegaans will benefit 99.9% from it, it is similar to the Burco-Oodweyne-Hargeisa road and Wadada cad (Hargeisa to Awaare).

It is not viable in Xiis so it is just words. Maydh has the biggest advantage due to better terrain plus being the closest to Ceerigaabo (the biggest urban center in Sanaag).

Idk sxb. I feel like the eastern portion of Sanaag is closer to bosaso.
As for the maydh port would be closer for western sanaag.
Berbera will still service western waqooyi like togdheer an waqooyi galbeed

That is true that eastern Sanaag is close to bosaso but Maydh - Bosaso & Maydh - Berbera is the same distance .

Berbera doesn’t have a big population. You could say that ceeri and Maydh population is basically the same and once the road is finished they will be twin cities.

It is not about population but Berbera serves as far as Ethiopia. If it was about population Bosaso would have had a better port than Berbera, but it doesn't work that way.

Bosaaso is currently losing business to an expanding Berbera, another let in the region is bound to hurt it more.

And this Dry port under construction in Gambadhe will minor monopolise Somali trade to Somaliland
