There’s this misconception that Somalia is actually wealthy. Somalia is one of the most resource poor countries in the world. We have no oil, no gas, no water resources, very little fertile soil, periodic droughts. Statistically, Somalia wasn’t destined to be successful similar to Sahel countries.
