What a beautiful landscape. We have the town Bareeda in PuntLand and in Holland they have the town Breda both cities are pronounced the same way Bareda
I wonder which Bareda is the oldest is it the PuntLand Bareeda or is it the Nederlands Breda.
I was obsessed when I went back. Went to Eyl and my goodness, pictures don't do it justice. And the hotel on the beach was so clean and pretty. 
Garowe is also really nice and clean. It has a very relaxed pace if you are into that.

Garowe is also really nice and clean. It has a very relaxed pace if you are into that.
Garowe is the cleanest and most organized city in Somalia . I visited my motherβs half siblings in 2022 , there were zebra crossings, pavements , designated bus stops etc . Thereβs more urban planning , Xamar has a lot of development going on but it feels chaotic.
Mention this a bit to @Shimbiris before. Puntland has high potential in terms of eco-tourism
There is also good potential to drive Somali diaspora investment through Tourism,
Coastal hiking, snorkeling, agro-tourism and wildlife spotting are all attractive options.
It will allow tens of thousands of Somalis to come inject foreign currency into the local economy every summer.
The hospitality industry is full of opportunities as well. Different lodging from campgrounds (Hawd area) to spas (Biyokulule) to agro-tourism (Geesaleey). Secondary businesses that cater to diaspora tourists will spring up.
