from the way things are going, the nomadic lifestyle is finished. global warming has done its damage and will continue to do even more in the coming decade. i dont see a way out for these people that to tell them to move to a town near the seaside and fish.

They will get more rainfall throughout the year but less during the growing season. Keep in mind most o Somalia's food production is rainfed and not irrigated. Somalia now feeds maybe 1/2 of its people, with population growth this may drop to less than 1/4. Even completely developing the Juba valley would not be enough to feed the UN projected 25 million population in 20 years. It is a catastrophe, no one is generous enough to keep 25 million people on food aid forever.

There are ways to cover up the fish smell lol. We just need someone to teach them how to cook fish properly.

Well it is true clannism is rife in backhome. For example few months ago a group of HJ nomads @sahersi folks were killed after trying to

You'll be surprised, i went to a small coastal village around 110kms from the north of hargeisa on the way to djibouti called Ceel Sheekh, I spent a day there because the hargeisa university President invited us, while we were there we tried to grab lunch with fresh fish obviously and to my surprise they brought me spaghetti with canned tuna, OMAAR to be specific, i was like I'm out here expecting fresh fish and they bring me this OMAAR qashin, I asked them why isn't there a fresh fish for lunch? They said they don't fish because there is no nutritions in it, again i was I tried to explain the health benefits but they shut me down
