I can already see a couple of people on here putting this on Islam, jumping to conclusions just like the far-right, even though there haven’t been any reports suggesting the perpetrators had religious motives.

Right now, they are busy screenshotting a few people expressing joy over his death and using that to paint a narrative that Muslims are sleeper cells, waiting to do this to all of us once they get the chance.

You should never feed their propaganda machine. Sadly, there are too many people who are too short-sighted to see how this will impact their own families in the long run.

This guy was a effing nuisance. Had the state hire security just for him ( notice how the police apparently came 5 min after he was shot ) plus more money put into his security every other day when he decided to provocatively burn the Quran in muslim majority residences. He was looking for trouble and he got it . Why would I be sad for someone that used to burn and disrespect the Quran and Islam. He sowed nothing but hate. It also happened in Sweden, most likely a kid hired for murder who will likely serve only two years. In Sweden i'm sure they won't care as long as you don't touch a white swede or a woman.

I don't understand why people get offended when Islamophobes burn the Quran. As Muslims, we burn the Quran or anything with Allah's name on it as a respectful way to dispose of it, rather than throwing it in the trash. Their intentions may be malicious, but they can never erase Allah's word from the world.
