I'm not worried about the people, I'm worried about the leadership. The fact SL government hasn't strongly opposed the Gaza deportations and closed it's door on it is worrying to say the least. Don't try to isolate the behaviour to one individual. It was a government of Somalia of which the current one is a continuation. There has been no real distinction between the two periods and figures from that regime are regularly given state funerals.

Most functioning countries would make a distinction between the offending periods with mass arrests of regime offials and trials and condeming of atrocities in a formal way with laws passed etc none of which took place when FGS took power so it's merely a continuing government.
