Well of course, him and kheyre saved them from ruin in his first term. They weren’t receiving pay during dameer’s first term, and the money for them was being given to non existent soldiers who were on payroll (someone was embezzling the money). HSM benefits from having distracting battles across the country, so strengthening the means to end that (strengthening SNA) is of no concern to him. While farmaajo, who wants to reach the vulnerable communities who are in AS territory, naturally wants to thwart them.
His pursued policy of centralisation is what led to his downfall.

He honestly was. He was probably better than anybody who's taken office in the last 20 years. The first time I ever heard of any ajanabi getting kicked out of somalia was when farmajo came to power.
I've also come to appreciate how pragmatic the dude was. No Somali president especially with how weak Somalia is now could win every negotiation. So he knew when to make concessions. He also didn't rush to throw the soliders at alshabab even though people try to smear him with that because he knew he had to actually build a military.
Peoples main argument against him came down to him talking power away from clans. I dont even think any other president or federal member president even attempted to say that they were anti corruption.
The bar is so low, someone considered to be decent or average in the rest of the world would seem like a superhero to Somalia. How far this country has fallen.
I would take Farmaajo over HSM, atleast he was pro Somali and not pro his wallet.

I wouldn't really call Farmaajo pro Somali either. He was in bed with Ethiopia (gave away ONLF members), gave China rights to Somalia's seas, couldn't even fully win the EEZ court case against Kenya.
Somalia has yet get a president that fully serves the interests of Somali people across Somaliweyn.
It was this guy HSM’s NISA officer that gave away the ONLF chief. The family of qalbidhagax sent complaints to press charges against him, not Farmajo. He lasted 7 months before getting removed. Then Hassan reappointed him because he’s a loyal DJ.

Farmajo resembles MSB with his staunch nationalism. He never left Somalia to go have meetings with leaders in Kenya like these other leaders do.

I can say with confidence in the last 15 years there hasn't been a single political leader in somalia with the exception of farmajo who's actually been pro somalia. (Which is honestly a pretty low bar ) Does that means he's perfect ? No obviously not and the fact that people try to even use that as an argument is hypocritical

He only served under farmajo for 6 months then he was removed. Sanbalooshe just like qalbi dhagax sided with rooble aswell,saying how farmaajo needs to be removed so an election can be held. Even though sanbalooshe was the one who sold him out that day, they found each other on the same side.
