Ngl I used to eat good off the pandemic baris iyo sugaar. Damn shame they thought out a large portion of what they made. I hope those people that fed me never got busted.

Desperation makes you do crazy things if they catch lady she will be looking at a couple of years easy. Somalis love to band together when people do bad stuff and help them. There are so many who ate good of this. Literally everyone in MN knows of a family (if not their own) who has profited from it. The new cars, houses, property in Kenya, land in Somalia. Its all from it. But as Muslims we believe with full conviction the concept of Barakah, that money without blessings has no worth, and little money with Barakah goes such a long way. Ironically, it is how those who came here 30 years ago with 8-10 kids still managed to suffice with a minimal waged job, but today the next generation are struggling with fewer kids and both parents working (yes yes I understand the economy was different and that is factored in as well!)
