Even if they offered Berbera and then the U.S. accepts what will Somaliland do? Block the U.S. and scuttle their chances of recognition? No way, they will just ask for a 50/50% split with FGS or ask for the deal to go through them which it can’t without recognition anyway. Grow up kids and look at things through sober lenses.

Assuming you meant SL as the source, it isn’t recognized, if they are going to go to the source then why not just recognize it? Most likely they are playing Somalia and SL off each other and that’s a great strategy by President Trump and his wise advisor Sebastian Gorka. One or both of you will take the Palestinians

they are plenty of non-recognized states that function just fine like South ossetia and abkhazia.
