I think the best and most accurate measurement is the national road done by siyad that goes thru the nation. Work out how much distance the road is and work out how much your clans own of the road. It's about 2000 kilometers from kismayo to awdal. 750 kilometer MAJERTEN(bosaso to galkayo). 30% of the land-mass, farole was accurate when he said Majerten alone own 30% of somalia. Not even adding the dhulbahante-warsangeli part which is probably another 200 kilometers from garowe to las anod.

Jubaland ain't that large bruv. Hamar to Kismayo is 500 kilometers in distance. Plus u need to substract shabellaha lands. JL is about 300 kilometers of the national high-way gebi ahanteedu.

True, the distance between bosaso and galkayo is the same distance between galkacyo and mogadishu

Darod as a whole own about 300 kilometers from Kismayo to Mogadishu road. 200 kilometers of which is owned by shabellaha. Then Galkayo to Bosaso is 750 kilometer. Garowe to Las anod is 200 kilometers. In total darod own 1300 kilometers of the 2300 kilometer road. Hawiye own 750 kilometers galkayo to mogadishu. Dirta Waqoyi Burco to Borame around 300 kilometers.

Basically 50% of the land is Darod, 50% Somali. Dir iyo Darod waa xaq somalidu been kuma gabyane, it can be proved from the national road length that cuts through from kismayo to boorama how much each clan owns.

My calculations are true. I worked it out this way. Las anod to Borama is 500 kilometers when I did a google map distance check. I then worked out how much Garowe to Las anod distance is, and it's 200 kilometers give or take. So 200 kilometers of the north is owned by Dhulbahante. I can't wait for El Dahir to Bosaso road finishing that will give us a good idea of how much warsangeli own of Sanaag. Plus when they do that erigavo to burco road we will know how much HY own.

The south is more straight forward as the road penetrates from Bosaso to Kismayo directly. It's a simple check on google maps to work out the distances. 750 km locked down from Bosaso to Galkayo. 750 km locked for hawiye between galkayo and mogadishu. Then 500 kilometer for Mog to Kismayo which darod takes about 300 kilometer.

I don't like the clan maps too much as everyone inflates their land, the road is more accurate between known towns in the nation and where your land starts.
