Hes live in a city with a large Somali population and the Muslims creating problems there for the most part are Somalis. He has also butted heads with Muslims including Somalis who wanted to bring Islamic based tribunals and family arbitration and who were pushing back against gay marriage.
He has a history with Somalis. But he doesn't hate them.
