If the average Somali rural and urban implemented fish into their diet it would be amazing

Absolutely, many of the comments are talking about how expensive the fish is in other countries. They do not see the bigger picture.

With careful management of our land and our sea, Somalis could be independent on meat production. Even if the population doubles.

We have cattle, poultry and fish. The 1st and 3rd in large quantities, we need to increase the amount of chicken is eaten back home. Progress has already been made but not enough.

There needs to be a nationwide campaign normalizing eating seafood and fishing. There’s still inland, rural Somalis that see seafood as a taboo.

They’ll kang about not eating fish, “Anagu hilib baan cunaa niyow, waxey kuluunkan aad ka sheekeyneysid” :snoop:

Imagine the potential. I bet theres limitrd knowledge on Tuna quality check. Once they know about Ike-Jime method and some basic chemistry they can import the tuna and make big buxx

I saw this video earlier today. It's sad we have this blessing in our land and we don't take advantage of it. Imagine all the people starving around Somalia and we have million of fish ready to be eaten probably getting stolen by foreigners.
