French Afars crying that Somalis nigga wants to unify Djibout and Somalia 😂

You should see the canfars on twitter the cuqdad they have is not Caadi Thankfully most Somalis have woken up to it nowadays
I remember when this video was shared on twitter. The op, like most Somalis when talking of Djibouti, were addressing the majority Somali population, not the anfars.

Despite that, these anfars didn't miss the opportunity to insult Somalis in the most out of pocket manner, mentioning famines, bombings etc & most Somalis were oblivious because the comments were in french.

Most of the quotes are anfars even tho they weren't the target audience of the tweet. They've become my least favorite ethnic group in the Horn after I seen the uqdad they have for Somalis in general.

I don't know if my super dhuxul self could even survive in Africa's real life Mordor

:williamswtf::damedamn:

Of course, you wouldn't :lolbron:

South Sudan have a relative tropical climate, in comparison to Danakil with extreme heats reaching 50°C/122°F during the day. And less than 25mm/1inch rain per year:jcoleno:
I think it's safe to say that it's one of the hottest place on earth :wow:

Sorry @seldiboy for singling out your people. But you guys tend to be low-key in the west that it caught me off-guard :whoa:
It’s fine. During that time, it became a habit of Tegarus to come to Eritrean diaspora events and cause trouble. Very obnoxious people

I forgot one of the users in here told me that carab salax are originally south Semitic group related to Morden Yemen, Oman and soctroa but they’re fully somalized now and there isn’t mixture between Arab or their old Semitic language to Somali .
Kinda mind blowing
The north east turn out the arabs

Honestly, jokes aside, I feel for Canfars. They seem like a very impoverished and underdeveloped people. Things seem to be getting better lately but I still remember seeing docus like this and seeing their state in Djibouti as a kid:

Somalis are far better off. We have two of our own UN recognized countries (Djibouti is ours, lets be real) and much more land and better quality land than them. Other than some of the Awash valley what do they have? We have the riverine south, the more fertile inland areas in the northwest and northwestern galbeed and various pockets like Cal Madow and the Nugaal valley. You barely ever hear from these guys on a global scale. Their diaspora and the number of achievers is paltry.

I'm not knocking them for all that, though. They live in the most arid and unforgiving part of the Horn so it's to be expected. They are a hardy and strong folk so no disrespect at all but quite on the contrary. What I'm trying to say is that Somalis would benefit from doing something for these guys. Going into their communities and investing in them. Schools, orphanages where needed, taking Canfar kids to Somalia to be better educated and raised there, keeping them in on any developments we get. They would be a useful ally and grateful. Or perhaps I'm just being naive.
Their language sounds so much like Somali despite using different words, crazy. It feels Somali but I don't understand shit

DJibouti has 6 regions, 3 of them (Dikhil, Tadjoureh, and Obock) are fully inhabited by the Afar people. Therefore, they have every right to have a say on the direction of DJibouti and its future.

Afars are also good people, if you get to know them. The Sitti issue is a land dispute between Somali - Isse and Afar and hopefully it will be resolved peacefully, but they are one of the closest ethnic groups to the Somalis. They're also fellow Muslims.

That land is full of salt which they sell it to all of Ethiopia and Eritrea. Actually, the Ethiopian and Afar regional govts should've been investing in that salt-rich territory. It has huge export potential.

Afars also live in vast area in Ethiopia, some of them being full of lush green and pasture. So it is not as arid as you think.

Ain't a land dispute, it's our land. Sitti is the Somali area. They need to stay in their own lands. I'm not even joking. And we're not close with them, we're closer to Hararis. A problem with Issas is a problem with all Somalis. Cut that shit out.

Hello,

It has been ongoing for awhile now. I think Afars believe the land was taken away from them. At the end, it is reer DDS who are doing the dying. Our online support does not anything at the end. It is the people on the ground that count.
