France has way more Muslims, like 7-8 % of the total population. Largest Muslim population in Europe.

More drastic and abrupt decisions similar to this are going to occur.

Your time in the west is limited. More & more countries that are increasingly hosting refugees and immigrants from the 3rd world countries are slowly retracting such privileges (welfare, immigration status, etc). And the locals (quite obviously) are seemingly unhappy with such high populations of newcomers settling in their country. We are on borrowed time. We can't expect to stay here until the Imam Mahdi arrives.
