Friends who start ignoring you overnight for no reason

Has this ever happened to you? Someone you're friends with, you chat regularly and then overnight for no apparent reason or explanation, they blast you out, respond to every other message, see you, get cold and distant.

I will never understand these people. It's too weird.

The worst is those who come back to talk to you a few months later as if nothing had happened (often it is when they have a favor to ask you as if by chance). Those there I take pleasure in ignoring them in my turn


Let me tell you :
One of my best friends since high school has hardly given me any news for about 1 years. He never answers calls and messages. I wished him his birthday, no answer.
I do not understand absolutely why, we did not get confused, there was no problem

I actually did this to some friends of my aswell. Main reason was , I just saw they were bad friends to have so I had to cut them loose.

Unfortunately I'm one of those people. Sometimes the conversation's dead or you have things going on that take up all your time and just simply dont have the energy. When I regroup I'll hit them up with "how are you" and miss you texts, even if we havent spoken for months or years, majority are understanding . You gotta remember often times It's nothing personal.

I dropped a lot of friends from high school when I graduated and went to college.

I especially had a fear of hanging around bad people because I feared I would end up like them.

If you live in the same city and they doing this, I would straight up ask them what the problem is.
Some times people are going through things and they don't want to share.

I’ve had people do this to me and the funny part is that they usually contact me again as if nothing happened (and yes, usually to ask for a favour). I used to give the benefit of the doubt but now I would rather just give them a taste of their own medicine, and I air their messages as well. If you cut me off why are you coming back?

It is called ghosting.

Nothing good can come out of someone who is so immature as to ghost you as a friend.

Let this person GO.

I delete their numbers and if, even after a year or so they text me, I delete the message without reading.
