From living in council estates to being middle class

Middle class with 1 or 2 children can afford private school. This is why there’s low birth rate amongst natives in developed countries.

The average cost of sending 1 child to a private school in the Uk is about 90-100k. X 2 kids = 180k-200k.
( talking about actually good private shcools not the Indian ones in the local high street).

How much does a person need to earn to be able to afford that, in addition to every other life expense? IMO 300k minimum, 400k to be comfortable. But that’s not middle class ... that’s just rich. Most people do not earn 400 K.

I never realised private schools were that expensive, I was thinking 5-10k on average :damedamn:

Even if they do the HMRC fucks them with a 20inch dildo, that's why people who fall into a certain bracket set up bullshit ltd companies. They're starting to clamp down on that though:mjcry:

You can send your children to public as long as you supplement their education with private tuition. Taking a proactive approach to their education is unironically x10 effective than sending them to private school. Some of the biggest f*ck-ups/borderline smackheads I know went to private schools lol

You need people like me
Grammar schools are probably the best. You meet people from all social classes plus they’re free. I grew up in a council estate but most of the kids I went to school with are at uni doing medicine/dentistry or have gone into law/banking whereas my mates from my estate live totally different lives.

@The Camels of Cal madow theres only about 160 grammar schools in the entire UK. The Labour Party and Lib Dem’s campaign to phase them out because they don’t like ‘selective education’ - where the kids have to take the 11+ test. There are no grammar schools in my area either. But I hear from people who attended them they’re almost as good as private schools.

Yes sxb. Soon as my career took off I moved away from the council estate where I had nightmare obese neighbours on benefits into a modern flat full of respectable working people.

Next step is to get out of 3rd world UK in general :mjkkk:
