if you want this to happen and be mainstreamed you need to establish a proper ideological and philosophical basis for it. you need to win over the right people and have them buying into your goals. somali nationalism as it exists today is geriatric 20th century shit that already failed. give up on somaliweyn superstate fantasy, read nietzsche, properly identify your enemies and opps, rebrand, set the aesthetics and paint a picture of what your political goals are, then you can preach to the masses.

I think Somali Ethno-Religious nationalism will be tried again sometime this century. It is too tempting not too, Somalis are for the most part as homogeneous as Japan, by African standards it is genuinely insane how similar Somalis are despite huge geographical distances.
The limiting factor is resource scarcity that forces us to have a zero sum mentality. But once Somalis are mass literate and develop a bit of wealth? Extreme ethnoreligious nationalism is the only way that ends, because it is literally the only way out.
It should be tailored to cultural needs though. People here want a ultra centralized Japanese fascist state, but Somalis aren't conformist like that, we need something that leans into egalitarianism, a democratic, very decentralized Somaliweyn would be the ideal

couldnt agree more. ethiopia has the best geography in africa, lack of sea access is the only thing that keeps it poor. we were supposed to conquer and establish ourselves in ethiopia with ahmed gurey, this is the natural progression of history for nomads like us.

They are growing population which means access to a greater market like services in ports etc.. I believe Somalis should stay in Ethiopia but gain greater autonomy & access to services such as creating their own political party, getting proper federal representation and Deputy Prime Minister or PM. Somali is an official language of Ethiopia now so we can use this to our advantage. We should make sure no other ethnic groups settle in Somali Galbeed.
We need a Cushitic Union similar to the Maghreb Union (AMU)
