@Chaseyourdreamzz, it’s happening, the Taha Alis and Abdi Sharifs are now paving the way for these young kids to sign contracts with major youth academies. This is exactly how Moroccan Football stars were developed.

Also notice how their Millenial fathers and mothers are fully backing them? I could see that same shift in mindset happening for the NBA and NFL in the North American Somali diaspora, where they can lean on their families for support;

Our generation never had the advantage of parents being supportive and dedicating their time to develop their kids athleticly it’s really paying dividends with the new gen Mashallah

we are in good hands basketball wise could see the first Somali get drafted in 2025 inshallah
