Gaalo names for newborn Somali babies is now the reality

Anyone else noticed some Somali babies being born these days have gaalo names?

My friends brother's newborn baby has been given a gaalo name after being born last week.

Why do you think this is the case? And do you think this will only get more common?

Gaalo names by and large suck being real. There are like a handful I like.

Although I'm inclined to carab naceyb I find Arabic names powerful.

I like names of religious Islamic significance.

For instance, just a little while ago I was having a child and I embarked on a unique Islamic or authentic Somali name and I settled with this name that no other Somali probably has. But what happened was that my mother-in-law made a special request, I mean she traveled oceans to be at the birth and now here she was asking me this favor, to name my child after her beloved deceased family member. I obliged and gave that name to my child.

Now, just the other day I decided to combine my choice of name with the one the baby currently carries.

So I will start calling the baby my chosen name. That's when they come back inshalah from their vacation.
Come to think of it this baby has traveled so much for the 1 year the baby being on this earth, 2 different continents and to so many states.
