Yes i was a trouble making kid at dugsi but that doesn’t mean that I deserved to be whopped with that thick ass hanger. Personally, i don’t understand why my maalin used to beat us cause it just made a lot of people either scared, or more volatile and sneaky and willing to lash out. Besides, we shouldn’t be teaching kids to associate fear and pain (beatings) with learning Quran and the deen. What are your thoughts on it, and did any of you ever get beat at dugsi too or was I just unlucky?

My macalin used to beat us black and blue but this was before child welfare was a thing in the 2010s. Then one day some lil nigga sneaked in to the toilet and called child services and snitched and the whole dugsi got shutdown. Shoutout that lil nigga he was a hero to all of us.

Damnnn that’s actually crazy what happened to the maalin though? Something similar happened at our dugsi, someone called immigration and reported the maalin as an illegal immigrant, turns out he actually has his citizenship the kid who snitched got found out cause his friends got beat into ratting him out, and he got whipped so bad.
