Turkey and Qatar come as a package deal, you isolate one and by defacto you isolate the other, Turkey has by far done the most for Somali's, the Saudi's and UAE have done nothing other than the usual countless fake promises while sponsoring terrorists in the country (which Qatar is trying to resolve through mediation)

The Saudi's in particular funded the whole Ethiopian invasion and are deeply in bed with them even wikileaks exposed them at trying to make us join Ethiopia, UAE we know is openly supporting the balkanization of Somali's, both are bitter enemies and absolutely useless, they have never done anything noteworthy in the country in the last 30 years.

Their recent heavy hands on involvement only came because of Turkey/Iran whom aided us during the worst famines when everyone else ignored us (2011), before this the UAE took no meaningful interest whatsoever, neither did the Saudi's after funding Ethiopia's occupation. (they were the biggest contributors)

The livestock export will not be a major issue and will only affect the secessionists the hardest (whom are in bed with UAE anyway so won't lose out) even then much of it was destroyed by the recent droughts and will take time to replenish, the bulk of the Somali's have diversified somewhat since.

Qatar has done more for Somali's then UAE/Saudi's, promises mean absolutely nothing, I can write down a list of 100 things they promised over the past decades which never came to fruition, they only began to build 1 or 2 schools/hospitals because of pressure from Turkey otherwise we wouldn't even have that (both out of reach of ordinary people)

I think Farmaajo is smart enough to play the middle ground here and not fall for their black mail, the Turkey-Qatar axis is our future, you can kiss goodbye to any SNA if you go against them and be prepared to join Ethiopia as a toothless balkanized colony.

This decision is an existential one for the country, we will gain nothing through buying into this blackmail but loose everything at the same time, these GCC countries will likely make up with Qatar as they did 2014 while the Qatar-Turkey axis will not forget the abysmal betrayal of good faith and likely leave us at the mercy of the old Heyna's

Even if they don't make up, this will culminate in a regional war that will likely lead to a world war 3 as Iran/Turkey/Russia axis will defend Qatar whom recently invested billions in Gazprom, keep in mind Qatar still provides the Gas to Saudi and UAE, they can simply turn them off as a tit for tat.

They really don't have any leverage on Somalia other then hot money which can easily be replaced by Turkey-Qatar block (they rarely even pay this money), Qatar is the richest of the GCC countries and growing rapidly, the UAE has a lot to loose here, no wonder the Saudi's are being sent instead, Farmaajo should hold his ground and tell him he won't choose sides between feuding brothers as it will make things worse.
